I am a big fan of this disney cartoon called Big City Greens, it's just very silly and I like it, and also I enjoy drawing fan art of the characters, fight me

so I watched all the english dub eps of Ranking of Kings, which is better than Game of Thrones.

essentially it's about a young prince named Bojji, who was born deaf and mostly mute. He meets a little demon creature who can understand him and the two of them go on some admittedly brutal adventures. It's hard to really go into without spoilers but, the vibe I get from it is really unique, something I've wanted in a long time: the veneer is that of something really cute and ghibli, but then the subject matter can be extremely fucked up, including references to death, murder, even cannibalism, and the whole thing feels like you're the adult in the room being able to pick up on the very serious implications of what is going on, where a little kid couldn't. You feel an urge to protect the main character from this stuff.
